About the Center

In response to the need for affordable and effective healthcare and aware of the limits of more conventional approaches, Tim Updike opened the San Francisco Hypnotherapy Center in August of 2004.

Tim is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with advanced training in Medical Hypnosis. In his second career after more than 25 years as a corporate executive, his plans are to eventually expand the Center to include other hypnotherapists as well as practitioners of other modalities.

The Center’s growing list of satisfied clients have realized dreams, reached goals, solved problems, and resolved issues in a way that was both easy and enjoyable.

Tim is a graduate of the Hypnotherapy Training Institute of Corte Madera, CA , and is certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. He has also completed several advanced courses that qualify him as a Medical Hypnotherapist.

He is certified by ACHE, the American Association of Hypnotist Examiners, the nation’s most prestigious and widely recognized professional association for hypnotherapists.

As a member of ACHE. Tim’s practice is based on the organization’s Code of Ethics and high professional standards. To maintain credentials and stay current with the latest methods and techniques, members must meet the organization's requirements for continuing education on an ongoing, annual basis.
