The Center is conveniently located in San Francisco’s historic Flood Building at 870 Market Street, right next to Hallidie Plaza where out of town visitors line up to board the Powell and Mason Street cable cars. Just two blocks south of Union Square, the Flood Building is just a short escalator ride up from the Powell Street Station. The stop is serviced by BART, the MUNI underground metro and several surface bus lines. Behind the building on Ellis Street is a multi-level parking garage accessible from Ellis or, on the other side, from O’Farrell Street for those who drive. Parking is a nominal $2 an hour. The Center is conveniently located in San Francisco’s historic Flood Building on Market Street, directly across from Bloomingdale’s® and next to Hallidie Plaza where visitors line up to board the Powell and Mason Street cable cars. Just two blocks south of Union Square, the Center is an escalator ride from the Powell Street Station and is accessible via BART as well as several surface busses. Call 673-MUNI for bus routes and schedules. If you’re driving, park in the garage on O’Farrell Street across from Macy’s®. Enter from O’Farrell Street or from the other side on Ellis Street, directly across from the Flood’s building’s rear entrance at 71 Ellis Street. While you’re welcome to park in any available space, the free valet parking service may be a better option, especially during peak hours. Be sure to take your ticket with you since you’ll need to pay before you go to your car. Parking is about $2.65 an hour. The two next closest parking facilities include the underground garage below Union Square and the multi-level garage on Mission Street between 4th and 5th Streets.
